The Most Improved Small State Awarded to Arunachal

Arunachal Pradesh was awarded the ‘Most Improved Small State’ in terms of infrastructure development by 14th India Today State of the States Conclave 2016 in New Delhi. The award was given away by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to Arunachal Chief Minister Pema.  Thanking India Today Group for honouring his State with the prestigious award, Mr. Khandu  said that this award was the outcome of hard work of bureaucrats, technocrats, public leaders, students and the entire population of Arunachal Pradesh, he dedicated the award to the people of his State. During the panel discussion on infrastructure development, Khandu said that his Government was committed for improving road, air, rail and digital connectivity in the state. He informed about various infrastructure developments undertaken in the state and also unveiled his future plans of growth in tourism industry, hydropower, industrial and investment corridors for Arunachal Pradesh.
