NRL (Numaligarh Refinery Limited) was honoured with four prestigious PRSI National Awards 2017 in the categories of Best Event Management (for Numaligarh Marathon), Best Social Media campaign (for NRL Startup iDEATION), Annual Report and House Journal at the recently concluded 39th National PR Conference of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) held at Vishakhapatnam from 15-17th December 2017. NRL Team comprising of Chief Manager (Corporate Communication) Ms. Madhuchanda Adhikari and Sr. Manager (IIS) Mr. Prasanta Kr. Baruah received the award from National President PRSI Dr. Ajit Pathak and Secy. General Ms. Nivedita Banerjee. Earlier the 39th National PR Conference of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) was inaugurated by Hon’ble HRD Minister, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh Shri Ganta Srinivasa Rao in presence of distinguished personalities from corporates, academician, media and more than 300 (three hundred) PR and CC professionals from across the country.
PRSI is the apex body of PR and CC professionals in the country. PRSI National Awards are the highest recognition of Public Relations and Corporate Communications excellence. The award assumes significance since top national companies from the public and private sector and media houses were contenders for the coveted awards. NRL shone bright among other award winning companies of the stature of IOCL, HPCL, Exim Bank, NTPC, IFFCO, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Nuclear Power Corporation, Bank of Baroda, Dainik Bhaskar group etc. These awards are close on the heels of 3 Corporate Communication Excellence Awards presented to NRL by SCOPE- the apex body of public sector units in the country.
